Location: Online

Online Information Meeting Date: Thursday 12th June at 10am.
Course Start Date:  Monday 23rd June
Course End Date: Friday 4th July

Course Duration:- 10 Days, Monday to Friday, 9.30am - 13:30.  There will be a number of breaks.

Who Is This Course For?:

This qualification is ideal for anyone that works or wants to work with children or young people.  It's also suitable for learners who wish to raise awareness of mental health, create a culture of care, and the promotion of positive mental health in children and young people.

What You'll Learn:

Unlock the skills to make a real difference in young lives with our Level 2 NCFE Certificate in Children’s and Young People’s Mental Health. This course will teach you how to spot early signs of mental health issues, provide support with confidence, and promote resilience in children and teens.

You’ll explore key topics like safeguarding, mental health legislation, and effective communication, giving you the tools to support young people and their families. Whether starting your journey or enhancing your skills, this course is ideal for anyone working with children.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • You Must be claiming benefits (Universal Credit, JSA, ESA, PIP, Income Support, or Housing Benefit).

  • You Must have lived in the EU for the last three years and currently reside in England (You can't live in Greater Manchester, Cambridge & Peterborough, Tees Valley, West Midlands, Bristol & Bath or London).

  • You cannot be an international student or asylum seeker.

  • You Must have lived in the UK for a minimum of three years, except for individuals from Ukraine.
